KAI – Kirton – Adaption – Innovation

I went through an exam on this subject. What I learnt was that the different score levels only means different ways re problem solving. I began to understand there had to be tolerance and respect or civil war could destroy a team, especially if one team member thought his way was the only way.

My explanation of profound effects this Kirton stuff had on me

In early 2000’s, a landscaping architect rang me saying I have several projects that have a strong biodiversity angle, that I may ask for your company to price for. Would you be able to give me a list of some of your major live projects, so I and the CEO can check out you work without  pre bookings. This went on for a couple of years. Just when I was about to terminate the business, a letter came saying, will you price for landscaping at a secure hospital in Buxton, Norfolk. We expect your price to be in line with current price levels. You will be referred to as a partner. We put in the price, it was accepted, and we were awarded the project and work started. I then had a letter to join the client care principles and Simmons, the team builder in the directors’ suite at Trent Bridge, for a team building seminar run by a Business  Coach team called ‘Change for advantage’. Meeting reps from all other tradesmen was very good, plus all attendees sat a KAI exam. My score was 129. The landscape architect asked me to brief my team to talk very courteously to locals/parish councillors at Buxton, as they were anti the project. Something went right and the Buxton Parish council liked us and entered us for 2 awards, and we won them both.

What is the DARVO mentality?

Some people call this pattern “DARVO” which stands for “deny, attack, reverse victim and offender.” 1 It’s a way to shift the blame away from the abuser and make seem like the one at fault. Harsey, S. & Freyd, J.J. (People also ask)

How do you respond to a DARVO response?

How to Respond to DARVO.

  1. Stay grounded in your truth. One of the main goals of DARVO is to make you doubt yourself…
  2. Do not engage in the Blame Game. ….
  3. Set clear boundaries. …
  4. Recognize when it’s not worth engaging

I’m including the above information so you will understand when I mark the word DARVO on other people’s comments.

Re. DARVO – in my own personal fight over the last 10 years or so against corruption Bankers, Career Criminals, and bent Watchdogs, I have seen honest victims mentally destroyed by reacting to the DARVO player.

What is Gaslighting?

Gaslighting is a form of psychological and emotional manipulation where a person tries to make another doubt their own reality, memory, or sanity. The term comes from the 1938 play and film ‘Gas Light’, in which a husband manipulates his wife into believing she is insane by secretly dimming the house’s gas lights and then denying that they have changed. Gaslighting is a serious form of coercive control, often used to gain power and control over a victim within any type of relationship, such as romantic, family, or professional.

Examples of Gaslighting

  • Denying facts or events: A gaslighter might insist they never said something or that something you remember clearly did not happen.
  • Questioning your sanity: They may tell you you are “too sensitive,” “overly emotional,” or “going crazy” when you express your needs or concerns.
  • Undermining your confidence: The manipulator may constantly criticize your abilities or intelligence.
  • Minimizing your feelings: They might dismiss your thoughts and feelings as invalid or unimportant.
  • Lying and misremembering: The abuser may lie outright or deliberately misremember events to make you doubt your own memory.

How it works
Creates self-doubt:
Repeatedly questioning your perceptions, memories, and feelings causes confusion and makes you doubt your own judgment.

Gains control:
The goal of gaslighting is to gain power and control over the victim, often making them more dependent on the abuser.
Erodes self-confidence:
Over time, this behaviour can erode the victim’s confidence and self-worth, making them more vulnerable.

Why it’s harmful
Gaslighting is a severe form of abuse that can have lasting negative effects on a person’s mental and emotional health. It shifts the focus from the abuser’s harmful behaviour to the supposed psychological instability of the victim

Why I keep flagging the DARVO situation and gaslighting is because I have been schooled and trained in this for 2 years by my making a mistake of hiring a career criminal who was well versed in all these topics. Not only did he practice these methods on myself, but also on my brilliant staff who were capable of bringing him down by finalising ISO’s to instigate regular audits. He found their weaker points and surreptitiously spread rumours about me through other staff, which made them feel extremely uneasy and in some cases experienced loss of self esteem.

8 months before the demise of my company it was obvious to me this villain was up to no good in several areas but, being experienced, he covered himself by developing many smoke screens. Lloyds Bank, instead of helping me when I visited them on 23rd November 2013, put in a BSU Manager who further tried the techniques of gaslighting me to make me feel that I solely was the cause of all the problems the company was experiencing. This BSU person from Lloyds did just the same with an SME colleague who lives in the same Fenland area as me, destroying his two businesses by leading him down the wrong path. (To me, this is organised crime.) From then to my company’s demise, Lloyds Bank through me under a bus on every occasion they could. Also, despite the police being provided with totally sound evidence of corruption and cover ups the bank were perpetrating, they had no appetite to do anything about it whatsoever. The watch dogs appeared to be complicit with police – ignoring these matters for me and thousands of other SME’s that were purposely destroyed to satisfy the greed of a hierarchy within the banking industry.

Lloyds BSU

Lloyds BSU and Royal Bank of Scotland GRG (Global Restructuring Group) – Both of these bank departments’ work was to support clients who were facing difficulties but, in fact, both these banking companies use them to destroy businesses and claim the assets.

The new Hillsborough Law that has been passed it will lessen the sinking feeling SME’s have when everybody points out these banks are so lawyered up there is no chance of winning, hopefully this new law will give SME’s
